I can feel the morning warmth through my eyelids. My senses awaken at a slow pace, alerting me to my surroundings.

Something cold repeatedly touches my face, accompanied by a distant chirping sound near my left ear. My feet are cold—where is my blanket. Searching with my toes, I find the soft fabric and pull it up over my head, refusing to open my eyes.

Just as I feel the comfort of sleep again, a heavy ball plops onto my head, whacking me repeatedly in an attempt to pull the blanket off. Stubbornly, I cling to the cloth, but now sleep has already left. I can smell the damp earth from my window—it must’ve rained last night.

Then a pair of big eyes peeks into my cocoon, staring at me longingly, followed by some wet licks to my face.
“Ohayou Ichigo”, she says.
I can’t help but smile and pull her into a big hug. It feels so good to hug.

“Ohayou, world” I say back to her.
Now sitting up, I begin to notice the colors on the floor this morning—a cool green, dotted with bright yellow dancing through the window. I love watching specks of light; they are my magic dusts.
I let out a big yawn, so big you could probably see my voice bone.

Glancing at the floor, I see that it’s dry today—no need for the floaty. Slowly, I moved my toes to feel how cold the green is. Ah, it’s nice—a welcoming kind of cold. I decide that green will be my color of the day!
As I walk around, I can feel green leaves sprouting beneath my feet with each step.

Then I see a dresser and stop to check it out. In the mirror, I catch a glimpse of a messy red bush surrounding my face.

Blinking a few of times, I smile—I love how it looks.
I’ll put on my favorite green beret later.

Now, let's get ready for the day's adventure.
